Boulevard allows expiration dates to be recorded for products that have a shelf life. The date can be added when receiving an inventory order or by editing the product profile. An Expiring Product Listing report can be printed to see which items are nearing their expiration date.
Options:
Set the Expire Date When Receiving an Inventory Order
Set the Expire Date from the Product Profile
Print the Expired Product Report.
To handle products that have passed their shelf life, see Handle Demos, Donations, or Expired/Product Loss.
Set the Expire Date When Receiving an Inventory Order
From the sidebar navigation, click
Products, then Inventory Orders.
After the order has been placed and is ready to be received into inventory, enter the expiration date for any applicable items in the Expires field from the Receive Order form.
Set the Expire Date from the Product Profile
From the sidebar navigation, click
Products, then Product List.
- Using the Search field, locate the item, then double-click (or select the checkbox, then select the edit button
) to open the product profile. - From the profile toolbar, select edit
to open the Physical Count form. - Enter the date in the Expires field, then select OK to save and close the form.
Print the Expiring Product Listing Report
