Automatically Apply a Birthday Discount
Boulevard can automatically apply a percent discount on the invoice total during a contact's birthday month for everyone, or only specific contacts, and even override the amount for individuals.

A discount will automatically be applied to each invoice created during their birthday month by setting the option below.
- From the sidebar navigation, click
Settings, then Preferences. - Select the Invoices tab.
- Under the Discounts section, select Apply Discount During Birthday Month to enable and enter the percentage to be applied in the field.
- Select from one of the options listed in the Birthday drop-down, or click ... to create a new type.
- When finished, click
to save and close Preferences.
You can set a birthday discount or even override the percent set in Preferences for specific contacts.
- Open the contact's profile, and from the profile toolbar, click
. - Under the Discounts section, click the Birthday field and uncheck Use Preferences.
- Enter a percentage in the Birthday field, then click
to close. - Click to save and close Sales Settings, then
to close the contact profile.
