Connect Your ProPay or Stripe Account

Card payments can be processed in Boulevard using a ProPay or Stripe account. If using another payment processor, fee details can be entered manually and assigned to the correct Expense category to ensure processing fees are recorded accurately.

From the sidebar navigation, selectSettingsSettings, then Preferences, and choose the Payment Processors tab. 

Payment Processors:

Stripe: Select this option to either connect an existing account or create a new Stripe account.

ProPay: Select this option to connect an existing ProPay account.

  1. From the Account Details section, choose Stripe from the Processor drop-down menu, then click Connect.
  2. Select Yes to be directed to Stripe.
  3. From the Get Started with Stripe onboarding page, enter your email address, then click Continue to either connect an existing Stripe account or create a new one.

  4. Once you have successfully finished entering your information, select the Go to Preferences button to return to the Payment Processors tab in Preferences.

  5. Within the Fees section, choose the Expense category to assign the entry to, and enter the applicable amount used to calculate it.
  6. When finished, click Save to save and exit Preferences.

Note: At this time, if you need to process a refund or update partial card information, such as the expiration date, you'll need to sign in directly to your Stripe account.

ProPay

  1. From the Account Details section, choose ProPay from the Processor drop-down menu.
  2. Enter your account information in the Email and Account Number fields, then select Connect.
  3. Within the Fees section, select the Expense category to assign the entry to, and enter the applicable amounts used to calculate it.
  4. When finished, click Save to save and exit Preferences.
