Contacts in Boulevard can be marked inactive, reactivated, or deleted to maintain accurate records. Updating a contact’s status controls whether the contact appears in searches, lists, and various reports.

Change the Inactive Setting for One Contact
Change the Inactive Setting for Multiple Contacts
Move One or More Contacts to the Recycle Bin
Tip: Add the Last Invoice Date field to the contact list, then filter by Last Invoice Date or other available filters to help when changing the status or deleting multiple contacts at one time.
Change the Inactive Setting for One Contact
- From the contact list, use the Search field to locate and open the contact profile.
- On the
Main tab of the profile, under the Contact Information section, select the Inactive checkbox (or, to set the contact as active, uncheck Inactive). - From the profile toolbar, click the save button
.
Tip: Inactive contacts are hidden by default. To view inactive contacts, from the contact list toolbar, select the filter button
and select Filter. From the filter sidebar, under Inactive Contact, select Yes, No, or All to view all contacts.
Change the Inactive Setting for Multiple Contacts
- In the contact list, select the checkbox next to each contact to set it as inactive (or active).
- From the toolbar, select the status button
, then select either Inactive or Active. - From the Confirm status change pop-up, click YES to confirm.
Move One or More Contacts to the Recycle Bin
From the Contact List, select the checkbox next to each contact to be deleted. Then select the delete button
from the contact list toolbar and choose Yes to confirm the deletion.
Important: Contacts moved to Boulevard's Recycle Bin are still counted towards the Tier plan for your subscription until they are permanently deleted. To permanently delete or restore, see Delete or Restore from the Recycle Bin. Please note that once permanently deleted, contacts cannot be restored.
