To track a lead or potential customer, we suggest creating a contact profile for them, then using the Tag field, add a tag such as Lead or something similar. And if you choose to, set their profile as Inactive until they've purchased from you.
Working with Leads
With either option you choose below, you can select the checkbox next to each of their names (or click the checkbox column header to select them all) and print the list by clicking , or send individual or group email messages, and even track information each time you reach out to them by creating a contact log entry.
- Customize the Contact List by adding the Tags field.
- Use the Advanced Search link to filter those leads, using the tag you have previously added to their profile. See Search, Sort, & Filter Contacts ֍ for more information.
- When finished, click Reset to remove any filters set.
If you'd like to keep your leads together in a list, you can create and add them as a group in the List Builder. As you create new profiles for leads, just add them to the existing list you've created!
