Add Tags to Group Contacts

Tags are one way to label or group contacts by adding a keyword or term to a contact profile. For example, create a Lead tag for someone that you want to track that hasn't purchased, or geographic tags such as Westside, Eastside, Local, or Out of Town that allow you to group beyond a specific city or postal code.

Once you've added one or more tags to contact profiles, you can perform several actions: print the filtered contacts as a report or labels, save the group as a custom list, send an email, or create an individual contact log entry or multiple identical entries.

Create or Add Tags

  1. Open the contact's profile and click on the Additional Info tab.
  2. In the Tag field, begin typing a tag. Select from the tags shown or add as new (20 characters or less), then press Enter.
  3. From the profile toolbar, select the save buttonSaveto save and close the profile.
