Filter Contacts by Active or Inactive Status

Filter contacts by Active or Inactive Status to display customers based on the Inactive Contact setting in their contact profile in the Contacts list.

Contacts with the Inactive status enabled will be hidden from the Contact List by default. When displayed, inactive contacts can be quickly identified and appear in a lighter shade (light gray) on the Contact List unless they carry an account credit (green) or balance (red).

Tip: To add or remove any additional profile fields from the Contact List, see Customize the Contact List before proceeding with the steps below.

  1. From the contact list toolbar, select the filter buttonFilter then choose Filter.
  2. From the Inactive Contact drop-down, select All, Yes (to view profiles set as inactive), or No (only view active profiles).
  3. The filtered contacts can be sent an emailadded to a custom list, or printed as a report. To print, from the contact list toolbar, select the print buttonPrint then choose Print (or see Print Labels to print in a label format).
  4. In print preview, select the print buttonPrint or on a mobile device, tap the export buttonExport to to export and download as another file type, such as PDF.
  5. When finished, to clear any filters that may be set, select the filter buttonFilter then choose Clear Filter.
